The team

Our Private Wealth team provide advice on UK and international tax and estate planning, trusts and trust administration, landed estates and immigration. They also work closely with colleagues in other departments to provide assistance to individuals with matters related to residential property, employment, business affairs and family law.

The opportunity

Solicitors/Associates in Private Wealth Department, handling a mixed and varied workload with a high quality client base.  Specific Responsibilities include Tax, trusts and estate planning work for private clients and professional and corporate trustees. The work includes advice on wills, trusts and EPAs, LPAs, tax planning (both UK and International), provision of trust administration services, probate and the administration of estates.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Management of caseload of good quality, mixed work, to include matters on the following:
    • Wills
    • Trusts
    • Probate
    • Lasting Powers of Attorney
    • Court of Protection Orders
  • To ensure that all client work is progressed expeditiously and that the client is kept regularly informed on progress and fees and disbursements.
  • Play an active role in promoting the services of the firm and participate in marketing events and business development activities, to include writing articles for the firm’s newsletters and for appropriate external journals, as required.
